Hello Hello! This year I decided I wanted to keep a bullet journal. I have started experimenting with different layouts, colors, and designs, but I am not done yet. I think that’s what I love most about bullet journaling, is there is an endless number of creative things I can do with it.
I got a few comments about people wanting to see what I decided to do with mine, so I thought I would share with you a few of my favorite spreads and pages I’ve been working on.
I have only gotten to March so far, but I thought I would share another update later on so you can see what else I decide to do with my bullet journal this year.
My quote for the year is “Grow through what you go through.” I feel like it has great significance, especially right now in my life, because instead of letting things others say or do weigh me down and keep me from progressing, I can take their actions and absorb them as experiences to learn from, to help me thrive and grow. It also goes along the lines of “Let that sh*t go” but this is a little more poetic.
This is one of the spreads I have at the beginning of my bullet journal that are just things to keep track of. Big blog ideas and goals, and places I want to go, which is actually a lot, but I kept it small because this is only a year, and trips aren’t free (unfortunately).
I decided to write one of my favorite quotes on each spread, just to keep me grounded and inspired.
“Your soul is your best friend. Treat it with care, nurture it with growth, feed it with love.” — Ashourina Yalda
This was the first spread that I really went all out on being super creative with. I saw something similar to this on Pinterest, which if you want to see my journaling board, feel free to follow along as I become even more obsessed with this, but anyways, I thought this was so cute so and I had to put my own spin on it.
“Stick with the people who pull the magic out of you, not the madness.”
I really love how my Valentine’s Day spread came out. It’s just enough festive, but not too crazy, at least I don’t think it is. It’s just very pink.
“But she did look back, and I love her for that because it was so human.” — From Slaughterhourse-Five by Kurt Vonnegut
I’d love to see some of your bullet journal spreads! Let’s inspire each other. Happy journaling!
If you’d like to take a look at the journal I’m using, I bought it on Amazon and you can find it here.
Thanks for stopping by,
