Goals for 2017

Processed with VSCO with 5 presetHello! Happy Friday! This week was dragging on and on, and I was beginning to wonder if it was ever going to end. It seems it finally has at least partially come to a close because Friday is here! Party time, wohoo! Just kidding, I’m not a party person. The only kind of parties I attend are pizza parties. Anyways… today I have decided that since my blog is still brand new, I’m going to talk about a few goals I have made for myself this year to help you get to know my interests a little better. It’s March now and I actually need to

start trying to achieve these goals, I decided to write about them. So let’s begin!

I deal with a lot of stress. I let many things stress me out, and writing brings me a sense of calmness. It takes my mind off of whatever stress I’m facing. I do many other things, but writing is something I have always enjoyed, so I felt blogging might help with my stress by pushing myself to write and photograph creative content. So far, (I say this as if it has been months and it is only my second blog post) I already feel excited and I look forward to writing and I already have created a list of blogs I am anxious to write! Is that a blogger thing? I’m not sure, but I love it.
I have been inspired by many of my favorite blogs to start a journal. A journal that I can put polaroid photos, magazine cutouts, watercolor paintings, doodles, notes, quotes, and whatever else my heart desires in. I have not started my journal yet, however I am anxious to start! I need to get a notebook, but I already have a value pack of washi tape in my Amazon cart all ready to go. I’ve heard that stuff is addicting, but I’m going to try and resist the urge to become obsessed (is that possible?). I love drawing and I want to get into painting, and incorporating that into my journal will help me do it more often.
I have always loved music, and I believe I always will. I never want to give up on music. I played piano for almost six years, viola for four years (that is like a violin but lower strings, so a cello but smaller). I have always wanted to wanted to learn how to play guitar. This year, I’d like to get back into playing piano and learn how to play acoustic guitar. If you have any recommendations for me about learning how to play or about acoustic guitars, please let me know!

This year I want to get more involved at school. There are so many things I am interested in doing at school, but my first two years at school I was too scared. I have already participated more this year than I did last year, but there is still so much more I’d like to do. I’m looking forward to my junior year and I am ready to step out of my comfort zone and try the things I really want to do.I hope you liked this blog post, I really liked laying out a few of my goals for you to help you get to know me better. I am excited to continue aspiring to achieve my goals this year.
Thanks for stopping by,
