Hello hello! I honestly can’t believe that October is already over. This year is just flying by. Anyways, today I wanted to share some of my favorites with you and then do something I haven’t done for a while. I have decided to share my goals for the month with you in the same post to kill two birds with one stone. I have a couple other posts planned for this week and I didn’t want to overwhelm you with a ton of new content, so alas here we are at a compromise.
In all honesty, I think it makes a great deal of sense that I combine these two posts anyways for this month because I don’t feel like there’s enough content for them to stand on their own. Also, things I enjoyed the previous month and things I want to achieve in the coming month together seems fitting. Since I have already rambled on for too long already, I’m going to get started sharing my favorites.
I am honestly obsessed with my playlist for this month. I’m not sure how I did it, but I compiled the perfect songs to capture my taste with both old and new music. Needless to say, I’M LIVING.
You can listen to the rest of my October playlist here or by checking it out below.
Here are my top 5 songs:
+ Dusk Till Dawn – ZAYN feat. Sia
+ Whiskey – Maroon 5
+ Beautiful – Matthew V
+ Somebody Else – VÉRITÉ
+ Dye My Hair – ALMA
Starbucks White Chocolate Peppermint Mocha
My Must-Have Essential
My must-have essential for October was without a doubt coffee. I could hardly function without it.

Final Thoughts on October
October was alright. I learned a lot of things about myself and I was able to identify a lot of things in my life that need to change. I have a little bit better of a sense of where my future is heading, even though many things are still uncertain. It was a month full of fun, discovery, and mixed emotions. I don’t think I would change anything about it even if I could.
- Get more sleep
- Put the phone away before bed
- Get a real alarm clock
- Start a new hair routine (dear greasy, oily, messy hair, it’s gotta stop, man )
- Try out some new hairdos
- Dress up more and be a little bolder in my fashion choices (get out of that sweatshirt and leggings daily rut and unleash my inner fashionista)
- Get rid of clothes I don’t wear anymore and buy ones I will
- Take TONS of photos of everything
- Work on opening up my creative side
- Try to get an early start on Christmas shopping
- Just as an overall goal: Get my shit together
Best wishes to everyone in the new month.
